An impromptu storytelling activity where residents and visitors of the Lower East Side (Manhattan) are invited to type up memories, stories, and hopes, for and of the neighborhood. Last year's stories were collected into our first ever LES Zine, currently on sale at St. Mark's Bookshop, 136 E. 3rd Street, East Village.

Typewritten Tales was conceived by Anna Adler via FABnyc, co-faciliated by Sally Young and various FABnyc Staff. The LES Zine was published in collaboration with Helen Cretu and printed by The Source Unltd, 331 E. 9th Street, East Village.
